FREE Artist Workshops for Children with Miss Julie - Robert Indiana 250 Assemblage - Saturday, September 26, 2026

This American Pop artist, best known for his 1964 print/poem LOVE, drew inspiration for his paintings and assemblages from signs, billboards, and commercial logos. Learn about the techniques Robert Indiana employed to create a one-of-a-kind assemblage to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States. In the “Artist Workshops for Children”, formerly known as “Kids Saturday Workshops”, children can join Miss Julie to create their own masterpieces! In these free workshops, children will learn about the lives and works of famous artists from around the world, usually in their birthday month. Participants will recreate a project in the featured artist's style. Throughout the year there will be additional classes where we'll learn about other cultures, celebrate different holidays, and more!
