FREE Artist Workshop for Children - Papel picado with Miriam Alarcon Avila - Saturday, September 12, 2026
During this free workshop, children will learn to make colorful papel picado, the Mexican folk art tradition of cutting patterns out of tissue paper. These bright banners adorn celebrations all over Mexico, including birthdays, holidays, weddings, and parties of all kinds. Class size is limited to 15 participants. Registration required.
