Artist Workshops for Kids with Miss Julie - Grant Wood's Landscape Desk Calendar - October 11

We'll celebrate the new Midwest Icons exhibit in the Stanley Gallery with a special Grant Wood desk calendar project. Kids will use simple tools to incise foil plate to construct their own version of one of Grant Wood's lesser know works of mixed media.

This free class is open to kids ages 7 to 14 and their families. Please register by October 9 by calling the Muscatine Art Center at 563-263-8282.

In the “Artist Workshops for Kids”, formerly known as “Kids Saturday Workshops”, kids can join Miss Julie to create their own masterpieces! In these free workshops, kids can learn about the lives and works of famous artists from around the world, usually in their birthday month. Participants will recreate a project in the featured artist's style. Throughout the year there will be additional classes where we'll learn about other cultures, celebrate different holidays, and more!
