FREE Artist Workshops for Children with Miss Julie - Eric Carle's Birthday Butterflies - June 6

Beloved author and illustrator of many picture books, including The Very Hungry Caterpillar created colorful and whimsical collage art. Celebrate Eric Carle’s birthday by creating your own butterfly collage. To register by June 4, please call the Muscatine Art Center at (563) 263-8282.

In the “Artist Workshops for Children”, formerly known as “Kids Saturday Workshops”, children can join Miss Julie to create their own masterpieces! In these free workshops, children will learn about the lives and works of famous artists from around the world, usually in their birthday month. Participants will recreate a project in the featured artist's style. Throughout the year there will be additional classes where we'll learn about other cultures, celebrate different holidays, and more!
