Artist Workshops for Kids with Miss Julie - Ellsworth Kelly - May 18
Ellsworth Kelly was an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker who used bright colors and was associated with hard-edged and color field painting, and minimalism. Join Miss Julie to celebrate his works by creating an acrylic square painting in his style. This free class is open to kids ages 7 to 14 and their families. Please register by May 17 by calling the Muscatine Art Center at 563-263-8282.
In the “Artist Workshops for Kids”, formerly known as “Kids Saturday Workshops”, kids can join Miss Julie to create their own masterpieces! In these free workshops, kids can learn about the lives and works of famous artists from around the world and recreate a project in their style. Throughout the year there will be additional classes where we will learn about other cultures, celebrate different holidays, and more!
