Artist Workshops for Kids with Miss Julie - Botanical Portraits

This free class is open to kids ages 7 to 14 and their families. Please register by April 9 by calling the Muscatine Art Center at 563-263-8282.

Inspired by the work of 17th century artist Guiseppe Archimboldo, students learn to use collage techniques to create their own botanical portrait with a combination of paper images and silk flowers. Register by April 9.

Artist Workshops for Kids with Miss Julie - Botanical Portraits Image

In the “Artist Workshops for Kids”, formerly known as “Kids Saturday Workshops”, kids can join Miss Julie to create their own masterpieces! In these free workshops, kids can learn about the lives and works of famous artists from around the world and recreate a project in their style. Throughout the year there will be additional classes where we will learn about other cultures, celebrate different holidays, and more!
