Artist Workshops for Kids with Miss Julie - "Ben Shahn" - September 20

Ben Shahn was a Lithuanian-born American artist trained as a printmaker. He was inspired by social issues, American consumer culture, and the lives of everyday people, including shopping carts which will be the focus of this engaging drawing exercise. Please register by September 18.

This free class is open to kids ages 7 to 14 and their families. Please register by June 20 by calling the Muscatine Art Center at 563-263-8282.

In the “Artist Workshops for Kids”, formerly known as “Kids Saturday Workshops”, kids can join Miss Julie to create their own masterpieces! In these free workshops, kids can learn about the lives and works of famous artists from around the world and recreate a project in their style. Throughout the year there will be additional classes where we will learn about other cultures, celebrate different holidays, and more!
