Artist’s Statement

I am not interested in copying what is in front of me, but am interested in what develops on the canvas in front of me. I believe strongly in the tradition of painting and creating something to hang on a wall. Painting for me is a continual exercise of organizing elements that when satisfactory, answer questions I can't verbalize. I see curiosity as very underrated.
