Early American Pattern Glass & Art Glass Collection

The glass collection consists of over 3,000 pieces of glass featuring a wide variety of patterns, colors, and forms, including American Art Glass and Early American Pattern Glass. In 2007, John W. Conner of North Liberty, Iowa, gifted nearly 2,000 outstanding examples of glass, greatly enhancing the collection previously comprised of pieces owned by Muscatine families, including the Musser-McColms, or manufactured by the Iowa City Flint Glass Company.

A passionate glass collector, Mr. Conner, together with his first wife, Mary Lou, and his second wife, Wilma, traveled extensively to build their collection and to meet with glass collectors. In 2015, Donna Kitchell of Eldridge, Iowa, donated her collection of Pressed Glass Goblets.
