The Pottery Collection spans roughly the same period of time as the Musser-McColm house (early 1900s through late 1930s while 1314 Mulberry was Laura’s primary residence). Highlighted in the collection are Iowa State Pottery and pottery from other Iowa companies. Notable pottery studios from around the United States are also included: Weller, Roseville, Rookwood, Alberhill, California Faience, Rhead, Arequipa, and others. To be acquired for the collection, each piece must be of museum quality.
