Artist Workshops for Kids - Dia de los Muertos - October 28

Join Miss Julie to learn about Dia de los Muertos (or Dia de Muertos), the multi-day Mexican holiday celebrated around the world, where families gather to remember their loved ones. We will celebrate by creating a cursive esqueleto (skeleton). This free class is open to kids ages 7 to 14 and their families. Please register by October 27 by calling the Muscatine Art Center at 563-263-8282.

In the “Artist Workshops for Kids”, formerly known as “Kids Saturday Workshops”, kids can join Miss Julie to create their own masterpieces! In these free workshops, kids can learn about the lives and works of famous artists from around the world and recreate a project in their style. Throughout the year there will be additional classes where we will learn about other cultures, celebrate different holidays, and more!
